And even then, you have to make sure you're getting the correct molding - the ones that go right on the outer lip, or the ones that are a few inches away on the body crease and are part of bodyside moldings the full length of the truck.
I am looking for some of the chrome trim moldings for my 1985 F-150 XLT Lariat. Specifically, I am trying to find the rear fender "over-the-wheel" moldings for the 6 foot Styleside bed. These moldings are NOT on the lip on the wheel opening, but rather the ones that are a few inches higher. Their ends terminate into the black vinyl and chrome side moldings. I have heard these are rare, but I cannot even find a correct part number for them. Pretty sure they are NOT [b=left]EOTZ-9920164[/b]=left-A or 165-A. I think those are for the wheel lip.
Secondly, what is the correct way to remove them? I am not sure how the connectors work. If I cannot find replacements, I sure don't want to bend these things anymore than they already are. With some patience, I may be able to straighten them enough to be used.

1980/86 F100/350 & Bronco:
EOTZ-9929038-A .. Right Quarter Panel Center Lower Moulding / Obsolete
MUSTANG'S ETC. in Van Nuys CA has 1 = 818-787-7634.

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
Edit: There's a left side on ebay listed under this Ford part number.
Thanks NumberDummy! Now can anyone guide me through the process to remove this trim? Do I just pry it loose? There are some sort of connectors underneath the trim.
Theres a lariat in the JY in Liberty Missouri, if that helps. I pulled the one remaining lariat b-pillar badge off (just to save it, don't need it), but there MIGHT be some trim left.

Reach up underneath the wheel opening to feel if there are nuts that retain the clip to the body.
Thanks for this image. I am looking for the trim clips/retainers for that piece. Your diagram says to refer to exterior moulding section "R" for complete retainer information. Do you have that page? I can't seem to locate any of the clips to put this piece back on. Since the piece is obsolete (and no one seems to have it), I took it off and straightened it as best as I could, but several clips were broken when I popped it off. I am speaking of the clips for the trim labeled "29038". This diagram shows them as "IU, 6 REQ'D" (or maybe that first letter is a J?).
