I ordered a new 2011 f150 Lariat from Timbrook Ford in Keyser WV. The sales manager told me to try to find info on Facebook???? I am looking for a ford rep. that can help me. I thought that I would be able to see the progress of my new truck. This is the first new vehicle that I ordered. Help me please!
Call FoMoCo's 800 customer service line, explain you ordered the truck, want to know how long you'll have to wait. The rep at FoMoCo will need the F150's VIN
Similar situation.
I ordered my 2011 on 7/15.
Called the dealer 2 wks later and asked if they had the VIN, which they did.
The sticker wouldn't show up on the below site until 6 days before its build date, but once it gets close you can see your sticker: http://services.forddirect.fordvehic...df?vin=YOURVIN
Mine was built on 8/26.
Shipping is a whole other issue.
I think I'll get mine around Sept 12....but will let you know when I finally get the keys.
I never ordered a truck before so I am curious to see how this all pans out.
No idea what your dealer was recommending you do on Facebook....
Don't trust only to managers - call customer service line as many times as possible. Make them sure that don't give up the situation.
They became absolutely insolent!
