I'm a new 03, 6.0 owner x 1 month. I traded my dad my 150 for his 250. It has about 60K miles on it and I use it as a daily driver. I don't do any heavy hauling. I was researching problems wih the 6.0 and found a site called powerstrokehelp.com. It recommends "bulletproofing" it(ARP stds, new head gaskets, EGR delete, tuning, and a few other things). Does anyone know about it or had it done? The cost is a little over 5K. They also recommended a new 600.00 oil pump. I do like the truck and it seems to run great at this point. Is this something I should be concerned about at this point?
What a great site.
Thanks

IMHO and the opinion of many others you are asking for serious trouble if you deal with the guy on that website. He's in business to take your $$$$$. If you want GOOD, cheap (free) advice then come here and READ. We have an extensive tech folder at the beginning of this forum with tips and procedures on how to do practically anything you can think of to your 6.0 and Superduty. We also have some extremely good tech's that answer the TOUGH questions when the average guy here can't.
