I can tell you from experience, buy the better gauges now! The EV2's have awesome reviews and excellent lighting. The ultra lite gauges are nice, but They use incandescent bulbs for the lighting. I found that this is less than desirable on my gauges and have found that playing with different led combinations makes it better, but not nearly as good as true led gauges. I have cheaper gauges and kick myself daily for not spending a little more upfront. If you want to stay with Autometers, look into their GS series gauges or the new OEM gauges. You will be much happier.
Another vote for Isspro and Clay. I had EV1's in 2 former trucks, and I'm running EV2's in my current rig. I was going to order them from Clay, but I ended up ordering a custom built set to suit my picky nature. I thought the EV1's were easier to install, albeit a bit messier but not too bad. Again, do note that I'm very particular about things and I made the install as factory looking as possible... on all 4 sets I've installed
Moved the gauge face about 1/4" closer to the glass among other things...
You can also get the warning lights too...
Not to hijack this thread, but I have the same gauges as in your avatar CSIPSD. I noticed that my fuel pressure came with a warning light. I'm still looking for instructions on how to adjust the light. Nothing on the install instructions, nothing on their site that I can find.
I guess they consider "low" at 0 psi, as soon as the needle moves off of zero, the light goes off.
Is that just the way its set up?

They are working on a tool to allow the user to adjust when the light comes on. Joe (CSIPSD) is who I bought my gauges from and has been keeping me in the loop on that deal.

I believe Isspro is building all the EV-2 with the warning lights now, you will need to order the user tool when it is available to adjust them or turn them on. Right now they will light up to show they are functioning, but that is all. I have mine set up to come on at 25psi (fuel pressure)...

Its coming, just not done testing yet.
Thanks for the update. Where should I look for the release? Isspros site?
