Ok now I KNOW I was tired when I posted last night. THIS is the thread with the details for troubleshooting Code 311. First post/response to the original question.

 

My code 311 is cured. The problem was the TAB selenoid was not getting the required vacume to switch properly. The connector was way back by the diverter valve so it was hiiden quite well. I went through the rest of the vacume system and all is good now. My CEL is of and Im down to the last code. The 565 code but that seems like an easy fix. I apprecite the guidance. Big blue is running very good now.
