I have a 1984 Bronco and am looking for a grille/brush guard for it. No one makes them anymore for those years. What year model guards will fit? Is frame width same from 1980-1996? Any help much appreciated. I can weld and fab if need be, I just want to minimize as much as possible. Thanks
The frames are pretty much the same. The body panels did change however. The 80-86 bumpers did not wrap around like the 87 up models did. I had an 86 bumper on mine for awhile (when I had the 88 style body). Also the headlights/turnsignals are different. This will make a difference in the posisition of the light gaurds.
I'm sorry to say that I have an '83 Bronco XLT that I am parting out. She has a factory installed chrome grill/brush guard on the bumper that is on the list of available items. Drop me a line for pics.
So I don't have any idea if it will fit but I still have a grill guard off of my '91 F150. Its sitting out behind the shop. I can take pictures if interested.

Yeah that would be great! I don't know if it would fit perfect because of the difference in bumpers but I could make it work. I am also talking to a guy who has a truck with one on it for sale. He may sell me just the bulbar and its in man so I could just go get it but who knows. Is it chrome?
Thanks for the photos but that is a brush guard. I am looking for a bullbar/pushbar. Also that looks like its for a 70s or 80s truck so it may be worth more, because it is in good condition.
Well I actually found a grill guard finally! In great condition and only $45. A few little dents on it but it just makes it look used and mean. Bruners, I saw you had some posi stuff. I have a sterling 10.25 4.10 open rear diff. You got anything for it?
