my friends 02 navigator is leaning to the passenger side. where do i begin? i herd something about a valve on the rear airbag, could this effect the front also? thanks in advance
First of all, if the RR goes down, it'll make the LF go up and the RF go down a bit.
Will the rearend pump up to normal ride height anytime?....then go down later? Has the rear air springs been replaced?
If the air springs haven't been replaced, most likely thats your problem. Here lately I've seen a few pop-off valves go bad, which when leaking affects(pop-off valve is closer the the Right side) the right side worse than the left.
I'm not positive, but I think I remember the pop-off valve being discontinued from Ford. I'm working on a replacement for this, but you could probably just find one in a junkyard if you had to.
It use to pump up then go down later, now not at all. Nothing has been done to it yet. Is there anything temporary I can do to stop it from leaning for now?
I had put springs on my 97 expy before I even knew they made kits. The front springs from a 86 f150 worked perfectly. I wonder if it'll be the same here. What do I do about the front air springs?
