Does anyone know if the Lincoln Mark VIII has the same fromt suspension as th CV used in a lot of swaps on our trucks?

The Mark VIII front end is similar to the 89-97 Thunderbird.

Only reason I am asking was that I was considering a mark Viii for the driveline. Just a fanciful thought nothing serious. At least not until I get more established in my new job.

If your will ing to do a bunch of measurements and a bit of fab work you could use the Marks suspension.

The Mark is a unibody you will need to fab up all the pic up points, but the good news is that you set it for what ever height you want from the start. Plus have room to tuck your tires pretty good.

Yesterday was my last day at my old job. I start my new job Wednesday at House of Thunder Harley Davidson in Morgan Hill Ca. I have wanted to work at this dealership for some time now and I finally get an opportunity. I am really excited about it.

Thanks Z. I was hoping the CV and the M8 shared the same suspension. I want the cammer 4.6 out of the lincoln and they can be picked up pretty cheap on craigslist.

Those quad cams look insane.

When I started my project I wanted a 4.6 with a carb on top, but I had to settle for my FE instead since it was solid.
