I have an F-350 flatbed dually and would like to make it stand out a little more than it does now and am asking for ideas that won't break the bank and give me the best bank for the buck. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/p...ictureid=69421
One of my thoughts was to install black aluminum running boards, replace the front tires with a wider tire and rim thus giving it a little more "boss" look and I plan on repainting it as well. The cab is in near perfect condition so my bodywork is nothing. I would appreciate any and all comments and know that to try and make an eye catcher out of a hogs ear will be a task at best.
Thanks in advance to all.
Personally, I'd get rid of the wooden side boards, get some diamond plate "bling" for the bed. Cover the tool boxes with diamond plate. Have some diamond plate covers built for the headache rack. You can have a local metal supplier cut and bend peices for you. It's really not all that expensive to do if you go with the lightest weight aluminum they have. That alone would go a long way in jazzing it up a bit. I'd leave the stock size tires but thats just my opinion. It's already a good lookin truck .....................It just needs more "shiney".........................
