i just ordered a gray and a dark blue cps to see witch works better. my black one is shot and 159.00 on ebay is robbery. hope the ones i ordered will work for me. any thing that i need to do with my tuner
Rumor that the blue cps affects the timing a lil. I'd like to see what Jody has to say about it. Clay told me the blue cps is internationals and was and is used in the 466 in line 6 cyl diesel commonly found in ______ size trucks. What do you call a truck larger than an F550? Like the F750 or internationals school bus style trucks.
well on the way home today my truck decided to die again what gives . i put the gray one in that the dealer me with the recal last night, and that did not work. well might be somthing else. ran ok to work but when i was on the way home came to slow down tach droped and died !! so what else could it be ??? could it be a heat issue temp out side was 114* not as hot as it has been HELP WHAT NEXT
Have looked at your wiring above the DS valve cover for the 42 pin connector? You could have a wire/wires chafing to ground. Another possiblity is an overheating IDM.
did not throw a SES light when it happened all three times. each time it happened i was on the hwy, when i was slowing to pull off i would watch the tach. going in to coast the tach would drop below 500 then die. i can put it in to natural and fire it right back up not fun to steer or stop without power. trying to get it fixed before the wife has to drive it. thanks for the help
