So, you have a F-250 LD that from what I have read is the same as the current F-150 7700# GVWR? In other words it looks like an F-150 correct?
If so, read on:
I do know that Donahoe Racing is developing a 7" Edge lift for the F-150s, which I think would work for a F-250 LD.
The kit isn't currently available, last I heard they were still playing around with the valving on the Bilstein 5100 series shocks that will be included with the lift.
As far as price I heard it will be a little bit more $$ than the Fabtech 6".
I did see pics of the Edge 7" installed on a F-150 w/ 37" tires and their setup is different than the other IFS lifts that I have seen.
For more complete info, best bet would be to contact DR. Contact info can be obtained from their site:Donahoe Racing
I emailed him directly he said he's good at getting back to people. Yeah the truck is kinda a pain in the *** it has the superduty axels but everything else screams f-150, so getting kits and parts i have to be carefull with thats why i only have a body lift so far. RCD makes a kit applicable and i know a few with it but I want more than 6" i want to be able to run 38's or 40's with good articulation, i was thinking about the bushwacker cut outs but i would like them molded. But thanks for the help
I don't think you can run 38's or 40's even with an 8" lift.Or if you get them under there your wheel travel will suffer. Go to Donahoe racing.com and contact. Then call the number and ask for kreg. He is the owner and very helpful.
