Connections behind dash

I recently got a 77 F-100. While cleaning up, I found a red wiring harness that was disconnected. I pluged it into a green connection that is on the drivers side side panel above the emergency brake. I haven't reconnected the battery yet, but I was wondering if anyone knows what I reconnected.

Thanks in advance, I am new to the Ford Fine Family of Trucks.

Connections behind dash

Welcome to FTE.

We need a little more info about this connector. How many wires? Are all the wires red? on both sides of the connector? Is the plastic connector the part that's green? Can you follow one end of the harness and see where it goes?

All the wires are red and the connector is also red. it plugs into a green connector. they are about 2 to 3 inches long.
