I Need Help! Distributor
I have a 77 f-150 2wd with 400 in it. Automatic. I bought a reman distributor and was going to change it because the original wires for the pick up were bad. So we precedid to change it by disconecting cap etc. Pulled it out went to put the new one in. Exactly the same by the way. Put it in and it would seat all the way. the threads interlock on the rotor and it was lined up and all, but it just wont sit all the way down. We've tried kickingt the motor and all, but it wont seat. The original won't even seet now. WHat the hell do i do! This truck ran like a top before. I don't think there is anything down there. WE proded and nothing was down there. DAMNIT!
