I use stock springs in front and the lightest rear springs available for my truck. I use 235/50 R15 in front and 255/60 R15 in the rear. Next I'll try 255/50 R15 in the rear. It is reasonably low and still works as a truck.

The truck has a 352 now and I plan on switching to a 460 soon.Would 6 cylinder springs do the trick for the front,or should I use small block springs (front)?

Hey get some 2" lower coils 3" dropped beams and relo spring and shackle hangers, this should include a c-notch rear.

CACWBY--with lowered coils, how much camber do you have to deal with?
It would seem to be an annoyance for a daily driver
I will be going with beams, bags and four link on mine.

yeah if I had to do over again, and who knows maybe next winter, I'd do bags, 4 link rear (No Limit has H/D ones) and maybe even the IFS front with bags and open up the bed and tubs a little for clearance. Right now the tops of tires are tiltin' pretty bad, but partly because before I did beams, a few years ago I just did coils and in addition to 2" lower coils, I had some cut off, so I'm probably going to have to replace coils to keep from wasting tires.

if you are referring to my 67,it was sold before i got a chance to do anything to it. i'm back in the 5.0 mustang scene now,so i don't get on here much. you'll find a lot of info by looking at the tech articles or using the search function,or post a thread.sorry i can't be of more help.

mustang thing

you may be surprized how many interests overlap between mustangs and old trucks ie alot of old trucks are changing out the big block FE engines for the 302s donated form stangs which brings me to what yr stang or stang's are you toying with? mick

i have an 89 5.0 coupe. it'll have the injected 5.0,distributorless ignition and cyberdyne digital guages.the computer i built myself from megasquirt efi,so i can tune it with my laptop.should be pretty cool when finished.
if i could find a 69 351w block,it would have a 408 stroker in it's future
