off the line??
Towing our small bumper pull camper (7k lbs), the difference in performance and mileage makes me feel like the truck is a BEAST under that 91 perf/tow tune. Unloaded and running either stock or 87 economy (I honestly can't tell a whole lot of difference) I can get up to 15.5mpg at 70mph but winds affect the aerodynamic brick badly. I have seen 16.5mpg and I have seen 12. I also installed a few other mods which have all combined to help mpg as well. Truck now has an Airraid air box and filter, magnaflow muffler and one of the deep 4x4 air dams in place of the very shallow 4x2 air dam my truck came with.
Good luck, give Mike a call. You won't regret it.

Stock, with General Grabber AT 235/85R16's (skinny), very easy to spin both. Depends on ambient temp, temp of the tires, and the condition of the pavement. But I could usually get them spinning if I really tried. Especially if I was coasting to a stop and just slammed the gas. Driveline wrap-up maybe...
265/75R16s, Cooper ATs, also somewhat easy. About half the time, I could get them to spin. Otherwise, they would "bark" but not go more than one revolution before they got warm enough to stick.
Around this time, I went to eBay headers, which didn't change low-end, but certainly helped the high end.
A little bit later, I got a Volant CAI, and that REALLY helped the low-end and the ability to spin the tires. I think the abrupt almost-90-degree angle after the air box really hurt off the line, plus the small-diameter MAF opening dumping into a huge hose right before that 90-degree made low-air-speed, quick-throttle-opening changes almost impossible to accurately meter.
Soon after that, I went to Nitto Highway (Dura) grapplers at 285/75R16's. I could "bark" the tires, but again, about 1 revolution into it, and they would get warm and grab.
5-star from Mike, well, it helped everything in terms of drivability, sheer power, and shifting, dropping my 0-60 from 10 seconds to 9.02 flat.
But it didn't help the spinning tires off the line thing
Maybe a little bit, but it's hard to tell. Now that I have to do my ball joints, I'm beginning to think of going from 3.73's to 4.30's, now THAT is going to make a difference
