Just wanted to introduce myself to the group and give you a little run down on myself and the truck.
Everyone calls me Doc. I'm a 24 year old guy living in Vista. I'm a Navy corpsman currently serving with the Marines on MCB Camp Pendleton. I've been in the Navy for about 4 1/2 years and I am an E5.
In my off time I enjoy going to the local ranges and running some rounds through my pistol, wrenching on my PSD or my Dakota or volunteering my services as a firefighter/paramedic. I am also a member of Southern California Powerstrokes.
About the truck, it's a 2004 F250 4x4 Lariat with 130k miles, current upgrades are only an Airaid cold air intake, waiting on my Swamps 58v FICM to install this week. The next install will most likely be a 5" MBRP exhaust.
Thanks for your service Doc.
Welcome.
Nice rig.
What pistol do you fancy?
Well my personal carry pistol is a Springfield XD .40 Compact. I have had the pleasure of being with a few different units that have being in the process of fielding/testing new weapons for both the corps and some individual navy units and have gotten my hands on multiple different weapons systems like the Kimber Recon .45, the Kimber Covert Carry .45 and some Sig that they wouldn't tell us what the model was but it fired the .357 SIG. That was by far my favorite when it came to size/stopping power. I'm still trying to find one for myself like that one.
Yeah that's what we thought it was but it had some fancy custom molded grips on it, which the P250 doesn't really allow for and had a little more rounded slide. So we were thinking more like a new mod of the P229 but we couldn't really tell as it had no markings on it whatsoever.

Ha, I love that. Getting to hold something not out yet.
I'm a SW guy, but of course want everything.
Once again, welcome.
