Alright heres my situation, i noticed a noise not to long ago in my rearend and then noticed my driveshaft had be damaging the mating end of the diff. so i check everything out and i found that my original blocks are either smashing, breaking,or going into the holes of my lift blocks that are under the original blocks, what the heck is going on??? i have a 4inch lift w/ 33 in. boggers. im afraid if i drive it too much more im gonna throw a block.
Sounds like the typical effect of axle wrap on lift blocks. The best cure is longer springs. I have the same 4" of lift and 33 A/T's but no blocks. And your situation is exactly what I was trying to avoid. I had heard too many horror stories about the potential for squirting a block out from under the truck. Could be that the U-bolts have come loose but I rather doubt it. (Although they may be loose now that the blocks have begun to deteriorate).
Rear spring setup may be visible in one or two of the pics in my gallery. Not to say that blocks are not the way to go. Just less margin for error with longer springs or helpers.

you might have a brokin rear spring. I no I had a load bang in the rear of my 1981 bronco and I figure it was the slip yoke or u-joints but when I took a closer look there was 1 leaf was split in to I replaced that and no more problems but it sounds like you might have to replaces more then the springs if thats the problem.just a thougth.
