wanted to share my latest finds at the local u-pull....
this is the first toolbox I have ever seen at the yard, its in good shape only has one crack on the side, best part is I only paid 6 bucks for it!!!
ZF from a 89 f250, I'm planning on putting in the flairside with a 351 possibly
The factory toolbox was located on the Driver's side fender, at the corner where the fender and the radiator support meet. It actually sits where the overflow and wiper fluid tank is supposed to sit. The overflow/wiper tank is then bolted to the toolbox.
The toolbox is on the drivers side next to the antifreeze overflow container. This is the first one I have ever seen in person, I've seen pics on here but that's it, and I've been going to the junkyard for years.

Yes, just like this:
I have yet to find one in the yards that doesn't have a broken latch.
Even the one I eventually bought has got a broken latch.
Oh, well, there are more important things in life......................
