obd1 connector
I have my test light but i cannot find the outlet for the code reader i have checked five different websites and they all show a different connector and location. I have the 86 xlt lariat with the fuel injected 5.0 motor. I apologize for asking alot of newbie questions but once i get my truck running i hope to be able to contribute

Depending on year and computer system it could either be on the left or right inner fender of the engine compartment.
Also depending on computer system it can have one "Triangular shaped 6 wire" connector, or two connectors; one same "Triangular" shaped connector and a small one wire connector.
The triangular shaped connector in the earlier models is red.
