351M Timing Chain

When I install a melling RV cam in my 351M should I up grade the timing chain and gear or will stock be ok? Thanks/Robert

I always go with a true double roller chain and steel gears. I find they last longer with less stretch than the stock aluminum/plastic cam gear set, although they might be a bit noisier, if that concerns you.

put in a Cloyes, Comp Cams,Edelbrock TRUE ROLLER. The factory set is retarded about 4*. The ones listed are straight up which will improve power and enhance any cam that you install.

Roller sounds better and should reduce friction (How much noise you talking about?)
Also I have never had a set of roller rockers, should I consider those or is that a big waste of money! Thanks/Robert
