I'm sure you have seen some 73-79 trucks that had the plastic "Ford" inserts in the door handles. I was wondering if anybody knew of a place that had them...even reproduction ones.
I got metal ones through LMC; use the metal ones because they take the pressure off the plastic tab on the door panel, and the door panel will last longer that way.
Kind of a far away shot, but it's all I've got at the moment. It's a primer color, which is how it came. I've never gotten around to painting it. It fits into the arm rest just like the original, except it's metal.

OH! You mean door panel cups.... I was thinking ya meant an insert on the outside door handle.
also intrested. Have seen one in a junkyard for the outside. it was a clear sticker that said ford in black in nice 70's style font. The sticker is soft you could leave an impression of your finger nail in it. have looked and not found anything.
Yep, those are the ones I'm talking about. I haven't been able to find a picture online anywhere. I'll have to see if I still have one of my older ones in the garage. If I could just find a part number I might be able to track them down somewhere.
