Not genuine Ford. It's an aftermarket accessory (once) sold by autoparts stores.

Thanks for the off-topic criticism. The paint coverage is actually fine. It is just very dusty and you're seeing spots where the dust has been touched. As for the orange peel, I will buff it out. Does anybody recognize the insert or know of a place I can find some new ones?

I may be able to re-use what I have, but I'd rather find some reproduction ones.

you already have a picture of it. find someone that is good with photoshop to tweak it to look like new and then print out your own on "printer sticker stock" on your or theirs printer, I don't know the actual name of the product but you can get printer stock to make stickers with out of a home printer

OR find a really good pinstriper to paint it on your door handles and then paint it with clear coat or something to seal it to the handle, remove the handle form the door first of course.....

That is exactly what i have seen too. If no one can find anything i'm gonna go to a few graphics/sticker places and see if i can get some made. hope they can get that "puffy" sticker material.

Oh, I thought you meant the rubber seal that goes between the door handle and body, the one you painted over.

I'm sure your truck is a Concours level restoration.

AutoZone, Track Auto or any similiar parts store have it on the shelf most of the time or can order it for you. No need to find a "reproduction" one as they are still made.

To each their own. OEM = stock and therefore BORING to me. Concours restorations eren't my thing either - I expect my trucks to be able to function well. Looks take 2nd stage to that anyday

My point was why knock others? Maybe he's like me and could care less about orange peel. It would be like me knocking you for running around on small, stock tires. Not what I would do at all, but it's not my truck so why does it matter to me???

Don't be so sensitive, we are just here having fun. I got small tires and they suck, great!
