I'm loving it!!

I'm working on my 70' F350

The old D70 finally broke on me so I swapped it out with a D60 from a 68 F250 I tore down as a parts donor. The axle is in great shape with all new bearings and seals.

D70 had 4.56 gears open diff and giant 3.5in brakes.

D60 has 4.10 gears Detroit locker and slightly smaller brakes.

I don't need the big brakes because it's mostly a toy and doesn't need the big dump truck gear it had. The locker is fun. I can now leave dual stripes when I'm in the mood. No more one tire fryer! When I launch hard the *** end kicked out some and leaves the line in s hurry!! It used to just sit and spin.
