ok so i know this belongs in the classifieds and well but i feel this will get more looks here in the excursion section
when i first bought my excursion back in 2006 i also bought a new-in-box over head counsle for parts . well it has been sitting in my shed and has been moved all over this country in its box and well i don't need it as i used the part i needed and replaced it with the old piece . you can see it in the pics below
it is for sale .this used to apparently retail for $5,000
i will sell it to anyone for $250 not including shipping . i will ship anywhere and i can get a quote for you as to the cost to your destination.

nothing is wrong with the console except for the vent switches plastic holder frame just some epoxy needed

It must have been the gold plated version if it used to retail for $5000.
the hole is for the middle air duct and yes back in 2001 that item cost anywhere from $4500-6000 from the dealer what a rip off lol . at least that's what the dealer in Arizona tried to tel me and show me on there invoice .. a long time ago
Here is a picture of the unit I got from CL. It only came in gray color. You still use your electronics and switches which screws right into the piece. It's still sitting in my garage and one of these days when I find time I'll install it.
One thing that's holding me back was I spent time and effort in replacing the Audiovox overhead monitor/TV that was in there plus getting a remote control prior to getting this overhead. I would have to get rid of the Audiovox if I install this. There is a monitor in there already. For $35 it was a bargain and it would look cool, too. Decisions, decisions...
The one from tims01 looks like it takes the Audiovox monitor, although I'm not certain.
