Over the weekend I tried to change the programming in my '07 F-350. When I plugged the programmer in it would not power up, resulting in No change in programming. Thinking it was the programmer I momentarily plugged it into another F-350. The Unit powered up with no hesitation. Could it be that the Service port has a fuse somewhere, if so where? or am I looking at a big problem.
I Checked the Cig Lighter. There is No Power, however the power point on the passenger side does have power. Wouldn't those to be linked together?
I don't know if the power point and cigar lighter are fused together, however I do know that the cigar lighter and OBDII port are fused together. IIRC it's fuse 10 or 12 in the fuse box under the steering column but check your book for sure.
