Stock turbo

My 99' f350 with 7.3 is hitting 21 pounds of boost on stock turbo. Is that what they produce from the factory?

The stock turbo is capable of 25ish IIRC wouldn't want to be over that too long. My stock turbo is about the same sometimes slightly higher, depending on load.

After getting Jody to flash my pcm, I'm building 22 lbs. Prior to the tune, I was around 16-17 stock.

I've maxed out at 25psi in 80e tube from Jody.

I'm currently about 18psi max because I have 2 small leaks.

Mine was routinely hitting 30! I replaced it to gain more air, but it held up beautifully to sutch hellish abuse!

Stock boost

Main reason I was asking is because I'm still trying to find out if my truck has a programmer currently installed on it. It does have a three position switch mounted to the fuse panel cover under steering wheel but it isn't plugged in to anything. The wires are just bundled together and zip tied. Therefore it had a programmer at one time but I dont know .....not knowing is bugging the crap out of me. I have decided to go with the dp custom tuner, will it matter if my truck is programmed now?
