LPOP leak

great, just went outside this morning ,to have a smoke, and happened to look at my truck ,and i see an oil spot, about 2in diameter. I started looking at it, thinking, man, thats toward the front. My first thought, its coolant (new waterpump installed a few months ago), but nope, its oil. crawled under, and saw that, behind the crank pulley, its soaked..arghh

So, looks like a mellings in the works. Anything else you guys can think of. I have a oil pressure gauge, but not hooked up, it was, but about 3wks ago, the pipe that the sensor was attached to, that threaded into the block, the plug next to oil cooler, broke, so i fished out the remaining of it, and installed a plug. Waiting on next oil change to re-hook it up. You think, if gauge was attached, that the oil leak would show a loss in pressure?

Thanks Payson! Well, after 100 miles today, nothing, not a drop. The truck was parked nose down, on the driveway, not sure if pressure from the oil managed to seep past anything, but parked on street..etc, no drop. Just got home, so i parked with nose down, i'll check in the morning...

wasnt for it, i probably wouldnt have seen it.

Went outside to take a gander, and theres no leak. Is it possible to check the bolts to see if any are loose without removing anything?
