Rustoleum, -any experience with using for vehicle frames etc?
I have been looking at Rustoleum products and POR-15.
I have had good luck with Rustoleum products applied as directed in the proper application.
Has anyone used the Rustoleum 9800 urethane two part coating? This stuff costs me about $105 for 5 quarts (1 gallon + 1qt activator).
Has anyone used the Rustoleum 9100 epoxy two part coating? This stuff costs me about $115 for two gallons (1 gallon of each component).
Neither product requires a primer and can be used over bare or sound rusted metal. Both can be applied with a brush, roller, or spray gun. The 9800 urethane lists the 9100 epoxy for use as a primer for severe applications. The 9100 epoxy can be used on galvanized steel.
Is POR-15 a single part urethane coating? Most of the urethanes I have used were a two part system.

I use the epoxy paint to seal cement walls around large oil tanks that I install. I had some left over from a job, so I used it to paint the bed of my truck. After a couple of months it started to crack all over the place.I've been scraping and painting over it ever since. As far as other Rustoleum products,I painted the frame a few years ago and it looks like I just did it.Rick 1980 F350 Ilovetobounce
