Axle Code ???

Axle Code ???
Ok I wanted to know what axle I have in my truck, well I mean gearing, I know it's the 8.8 axle. I tried using our decoder on FTE, but it does not list my axle code.
AXLE CODE is 12
My truck does feel rather slow and since 3.08s code is 18 I'm hoping I don't have 2.73s, weird huh. Well I hope I get some answers.
Anybody know? Thanks in advance.

Look under the FTE banner on the top of the screen, under Articles/Specs.
You can find a lot of info, pass this feature on.
Ford Axle Code Chart .: Articles
The only danger with this feature is you may spend hours looking up
