PCM AT YARDS
95 F250 5,8 4X4
When searching for a PCM at the local yard. what am I looking for,
same year, model, number on door. number on PCM, WHAT??
How many different computers are there for a Ford truck between 92 and 96.

A lot! There are dozens of computers listed for those years. Add in the light duty trucks and Broncos went OBD-II in 1996. You need the Ford parts numbers off the PCM you have in order to make it easier to find a replacement. The Catch Codes help (BIO0, WAY1, etc.) but most yards and suppliers rely on the Ford part number for cross-reference.
