Got it - forgot about that.

John was along with us on a Baja run this weekend. He's a cool guy and has ben doing the headlight/grill guards like that for a long time His ranger he brought this weekend has a one on it as well.

Fun run for those that are usually stuck working while in Baja. We did some sections of the baja 500 course

Cool. We "attempted" the 1000 last year. lol only made about 260 miles.

Don't feel bad. Many more "attempt" it and make it less miles than that.

Heck I was down there to pit for a trophy truck this year and he made it 9 miles or so...

it's too far away really. first try was 2000 made 585 miles then. dry lake bed whipped us. took 11 yrs to make it back. got shoved into a rock that ripped passenger front suspension completely off. hopefully it won't take another 11.

i know this is an old post but how did you attach to the frame how thick of a section of the tubing any specs or measurments to build a simmilar bumper and who did you get the grill guard from?

Super bump!

Looks to me like he may have pulled the upholstery and foam and mounted the frame directly to the floor..

Maybe the OP is still around
