Motor oil ??
Iv been using a synthetic blend in my 4.0 with 180k miles and was thinking about goin to full synthetic, and iv been doing some reading on the goods and bads,, So what you experience on synthetics with 4.0s

To put it simple all oils are now GF-5 Regular and synthetic! So what is there to gain??? You also realize there is not a single true 100% PAO or ESTER synthetic oil sold to the general public any more! All synthetics from the leading brands are GPIII most regular oil is GPII+ so the oil all comes from the same barrel of crude oil just goes further in the hydrocracking phase. Add packs are all about the same as they all MUST meet the GF5 SN standard.
