Engine Stumbles when Cold
My 5.0 with 600 cfm Holley stumbles when you give it the gas until temp get up to normal. After that it takes the gas and goes right on. Could it be something with the choke?

Engine Stumbles when Cold
Fords are notoriously cold-blooded until warm. I had the same problem in a big way. What I found is that the choke butterfly was out of adjustment and was completely closing off the throttle bore. I loosened the choke housing and turned the choke so that when fully in the closed position, it still has a gap to allow air into the bore. This has helped to eliminate most of the stumbling, but it is still pretty cold-blooded. Once up in the normal range, it purrs like a kitten.
