Bought a Powerdyne centrifugal supercharger for my 1995 F150 5.0 a month ago. Two weeks after I installed it the supercharger started whining real loud and the engine started missing and even stalled! So I called up Powerdyne and they had me send it in for repair. I got it back a week ago and installed it and it runs quiet as a mouse again...but now it idles erraticaly, and I get a check engine light every now and then but when i tap on the gas it clears. When I pulled the codes I got no trouble codes at all. Checked fuel pressure and it is fine, only have this problem at idle, when engine is off idle it runs top-notch. Any one know what gives and is there a fix for this? The following is the mods to my engine for more info.
Shorty headers, Flowmaster single 3 in inlet and dual 2-1/2 in outlet, MSD 6AL ignition box, Ford Racing 9mm wires, one heat range colder plugs set at .050 (factory calls for .054), timing is retarded a little so that initial is 7 BTDC instead of 10. And the Supercharger.
