Do they work when the headlight **** is turned to manually turn them on??? I don't recall if it is turned fully clockwise or counter-clockwise.
Otherwise, check the door plungers for poor contact, corrosion, or are disconnected.

'A' pilar is the post which runs from the cowl to the roof..referred to as a pilar..'B' pilar is behind you, where the shoulder belt is... and if you have a crew cab the 'C' pilar is behind that, as in 4dr cars
checking the voltage is free and it will tell you if one of the necessities..12 volts.... is there, if it is then check for a bad ground, check w/ the doors open and then the headlight switch turned/rotated to turn on the interior domelight w/ doors closed, one could be good and the other bad

I had a cd player installed recently and the tech told me there was a bad solenoid in line somewhere behind the deck that he was trying to tap into. Could that be the issue?
