At 17, Im self restoring a 1992 Ford Nite and am buying my first air compressor, sandblaster, and other tools. What size tank, psi, and scfm do I need inorder to remove stuck nuts and bolts? Any recommendations on air impact wrenches? Where can I get a sand blaster that hooks to the air compressor and has a tank on the nozzle for sand? Please help
Your going to need a 240v powered air compressor. The kind where you have to have a dedicated plug to run it-not regular old household 120v plugs. It wont exactly be cheap, but in the long run it will run your sandblaster and other tools with no issues. Anything smaller will run the tools intermittently. 10-12CFM is the min Id look into
it might but you need to make sure the compressor used is up to par for filling the tank and keeping up with the task, I haven't used any type of air compressor before so i don't know much more then that about the systems so im not going to claim i know much about the systems but I at least know you need to make sure you use a tank and compressor can keep up with the demand
