Starter???

'77 302. Had no issues of late but took the battery out to use on an Expl. Put the battery back in and I get one click on the sol. I replaced the ground to sol wire, the sol and the starter tested good. I turn the key and I get nothing now. I've got power (the fuel pump is running) but no click. This sounds like it is the starter even though it tested good.
The starter I noticed is off a 95 cause it has the sol on the side. Just wondering what y'all thought before I go get another starter.

Not familiar with that starter, but you need to verify that you are getting voltage from ignition swwitch to energize the solenoid when you turn key to start position.
