Had a misfire on number 4, was a badly corroded wire at coil pack. Replaced wires (plugs are have about 2k miles on them) and now getting a 303 misfire on number 3 and a 171 lean on bank 1. Replaced some vac hoses, cleaned the maf. No change.

I have tried to change the fuel filter but CANNOT get the outlet side disconnected (yes, I have the spring tool) which I suspect may need to be changed.

Anybody got any ideas on the filter or codes?

Did the rough running clear up after the plugs, wires & vacuum hose work & then the P0303 & lean code for cyl bank one show up, or were they always there????

The plugs were a while back. About a month ago I got a misfire code on #4, and found a badly corroded wire at the coil pack. I replaced all the wires, naturally, and it run fine for about two weeks, then, I got a misfire code on #3, then on #4, then a lean condition and it was running with a noticeable miss.. Checked the plugs, they look okay, rechecked and reseated the wires, cleaned the maf, cleaned and WD40’d the usually connectors and checked and replaced some vac hoses. Still running rough and am getting misfire on #3 and lean on bank 1. Not seeing any coolant leakage in oil or exhaust, or around the head, so it doesn’t seem like an intake gasket, but I am just guessing on that one. Haven’t done a spray test yet for that.
