UP PIPES

WHILE THE TRANNY IS OUT AND BEING REPLACED; IS IT EASIER TO REPLACE THE UP PIPES WITH BELLOWED PIPES THAN WITH THE TRANNY IN. DO YOU STILL HAVE TO PULL THE TURBO?

yes it would be easier and with it out i dont think you would have to pull the turbo...but im not 100%

I just did this on mine - it is *much* easier with the tranny out. You do not have to pull the turbo.

Def do it with the tranny out. The shop told me it took less than half the time this way...

I pulled my turbo and installed the uppie's. They never sounded right. I blew my tranny a couple of months later (not because of the uppies). While the tranny was out, I re-installed the uppies because I missed the baby's butt alignment.

Way easier when the tranny is out.

Replacing up-pipes with the tranny out is cheating...................... I AWARD YOU NO POINTS AND MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOUL. LOL just kidding talk about the perfect time to do the job.
