So I've had my truck for a week now. And the one thing that I can't figure out is bugging me. Maybe it's something I'm doing. Or it's just how it works. If I'm playing my Ipod on USB and shut the truck off. When I come back and to go somewhere else it will not restart back on USB. Any other input starts back where it was.
Anybody else have this issue? My Ipod is a older one. So maybe that's the problem?? It worked fine with my last USB input Radio..
I think the problem is.. It looks for the Ipod infomation to soon after power up the unit. My last truck had a Pioneer unit with USB in. There was a delay when starting up.
I have this problem also......just have learned to live with it. It's not only Ford that has this problem......I just sold a 2009 911 Porsche with exact same problem the entire time that I drove it. I've just become accustomed to unplugging the iPod and re-booting so to speak after I re-initialize the music player. Shouldn't have to do this but..........
Mine is a '10 but I do not have this problem. The only thing I don't like is that if you unplug the ipod while the car is on and plug it back in, it goes to that elevator music - you have to tell it to play... seems like if you plug it in and push AUX, it should just play but oh, well.
Trade in your '11 for a '10 and problem solved ;-) Or maybe it is operator error. lol. Just kidding.
