What's wrong with the one you have or are you talking about the rubber that holds the glass in the opening? If it's the rubber weather strip you can get it from www.midfifty.com part #3103

No it's not the rubber it has a bad rust spot on the top of the window that's nonrepairable

Post a picture, it's metal, it's repairable. If you were going to try and get a replacement it will need to be welded in as well.

afaik, that's not a part that's available in reproduction for sale. You'll have to find someone parting out an old cab that would have that part still in good shape. If you had a 51-2, I could help, but your truck is just too newfangled for me. But the 53-56 is a very popular and readily available truck to find parts for, so someone, somewhere likely has a cab with a bad bottom and a good top to help you.

Question

You mean like this??? (Bottom right of page...)

LMC Truck Parts - Page 18

It would require new glass, etc... But it sounds like what you are looking for unless you want to stay with the stock small window.

Well that might have to work but that is for converting it to a big window don't know how that'll look with that slanted front post

A guy in our club has a 54 with a BBW conversion...it looks really good! His truck is the only slant cab that I have seen with a BBW.

i know how you feel

i am also in need of the top of a 53-55 rear window to graph in
Mine had some insulation in the channel above my rear window and it must have got wet because it is really rusted. I'd like to find that section also and graph it in. Fabricating all those bends would be a pain. If you come up with anything let me know.

Thanks,
tom
