Lone Marine - Rolling Thunder
I don't know if this has been posted before, or not, but, I received this link last night.
Every year (Memorial Day Weekend), motorcyclists from all over the United States make the trip to ride in the 'parade' known as "Rolling Thunder".
Until his death (5 years ago), a very good friend of mine rode in this 'parade', every year.
I've lived just outside of DC for more than 40 years, and this is an 'institution', however, I never realized that ONE MARINE did this:

How better to represent our vets who gave than with honest to GOD AMERICAN made rolling thunder?
What did you think they wanted to come home to?
*Nobody really thought of it THAT way, did they?
I like growing tomato's, personally
* Once I get all the way up on my FLIGHT DECKS again - AND the house is squared away.....
I invite any VETERANS to stay on the way across country as if my home was a sponsored hostel.
I suggest a tent and mosquito spray - but I have a half acre and two bathrooms if needed.
