114 on TWO thermometers at my house yesterday.3 chickens dead from the heat.I have had 1/2'' of rain since second week in May.
I work out in it most of the day.
I really feel for you all! We here are acclimated to it and expect it to be 110+ all summer but like said we are acclimated to it in the Sonoran desert, when it hits places like yours where it's not common people die from heat stroke and dehydration! Just keep in mind you will sweat out a pint of water an hour in 110* heat! So keep hydrated a pint or more am hour if your out working in it, and wear cotton so you will keep the sweat close to your body to keep you cool, and my most important advice, if you don't have to pee! Your not drinking enough water, please check on your elderly relatives and neighbors, it's doubly hard on them!

I worked in the Sahara Desert in the late 60's and early 70's. The temp at times would reach close to 120*. It was a dry heat and didn't bother me like this heat, here in Arkansas, with this high humidity, does.
Yeah we don't get the real high humidity, 60% is a normal aug for us so it's dry enough to function, but I don't know how you can do it at 90%+ with 110 that's just brutal!
