Code Reader Issue 04' FX4
I have an (older) Actron OBD II scanner for 94 & newer vehicles and I was not able to pull codes from my truck, it would never link up or power up when plugged into the DTC port. Thinking my scanner may be older/uncompatable I brought the truck to Advance Auto and they used a little newer/fancier Actron scanner but still could not pull a code either. Does anyone know if there a special reader for these trucks? I ultimately took it to the dealer who had no trouble reading them. I also checked all the connections on the DTC link.
