steering linkage help needed?
k im a newbe to fords... I have a 1984 f 250 4x4 with a 6.9L
I need some info on spindles pitman arms... and tie rod ends ....
1982-1984 tie rod inner and outers are differnt part numbers then a 1985- 1990ish and I need to replace all 4 (2inners and 2 outers) what im wondering is if the spindles are the same in 84 as 85 and if so could a person just use the newer 85 steering linkage insted of ordering the hard to find 84 linkage???
im sure some one here must know about this sort of thing
what is the differance betwwen the 84 and 85 steering?
