Seats

I'm looking to swap some newer seats (or just another bench) in place of the torn and tattered bench in my 88 F250. I've seen in a search that later model seats are interchangable, but I hadn't seen anything indicating that 88 was included in those years. Does anyone know off hand to what year I can swap seats with with minimal modifications? I found some seats out of a 2000 or so that I'd like to swap in. Main thing I want to gain is the headrests. I really want to stick with OEM seats as opposed to aftermarket seats, also.

Seats

Any bench from 80-96 and 97 F-250HD, F-350 will bolt right in. You may have to drill center holes if you go with a newer 40/20/40 seat. As for 97+ seats, I've seen them in a 79, so I'm sure with a little modification you could make them work too.
