I just brought home my new pride and joy last week it's a 67 F250 camper special and it in ROUGH shape, spent today cleaning the cab out and replacing a freeze plug on the passenger side right behind the starter,(what a pain in the behind that was). Any way hello and would like to hear from you folks,I hope to pick a lot of minds about getting this puppy up and running

Hello folks, I'm not wanting to hot rod this tub. It's mission in life is to pull a travel trailer 4-5 times a year. The lowley 352 is all the hp I need although a 360 or 390 would be better. Any body know of a good used y block for sale ? The engine in the truck is froze up poor thing set for a few years and motor is most likley junk
Hey Randy,
Joe wants everyone to do a diesel swap. My '70 had a frankenstein 353 in it for years it pulled a 29" travel trailer all over Montana. Dan's bumpside with a 150K+ 360 pulled my bumpside across Nevada and over Donner Summit. Those old FEs are great. I really like the 390 in mine.
Nothing wrong with diesels, but nothing wrong with gas burners either.
As for knowing about engines, check with Tigerdan. He is great at finding those things.
