302 engine swap questions

302 engine swap questions
I have a 85 f-150 with bad motor[carb robbed off] ect and want to put a 86 302 EFI engine in it,what would i have to change keeping the EFI system? well, i found the answer i needed, going to swap a 300 6 into it out of a 84,be alot easier

I don't know about the I6 being easier to install since for starters it needs different frame towers and engine mounts, the other 5.0 motor will bolt right in and then all you got to do is strip the EFI stuff off and go find another carb to mount on the intake you have.

i swapped my bronco from a 302 over to a 300, and while it wasn't bad per se, but a fuelie 302 will swap right in with an intake (and timing chain cover if you don't want to use an electric pump) swap, plus it would have e7 heads and a roller cam. if you have your heart set on the 300 then go for it, but the 302 really would be less work.
what cornfeild are you in? all my rides are on the western side of the husker state. i generally travel the statte once a month (untill i change units that is)
