TPS ?

95 f250 5.8

My closed throttle reading is "1.1" volts.

The WOT is 4.6 volts. Has a smooth transition thoughout closed to open.

Would the "1.1" my problematic high idle. New tps.

Thanks and have a Blessed DaY!

i guess what you are saying is that you have an erratic idle issue?

get yourself a haines or a chilton manual. it has the information you are lookin for, but not just for the tps, for all of the sensors. the manuals give you easy step-by-step voltage/resistance tests for each sensor. so ya dont have to sit here and wait for someone to crack their manuals out to tell you.

I SAID "HIGH" IDLE.

I come to this forum to ask after I have looked through the manuels, if that is ok with you.

Have a Blessed Day

that 1.1v could be the problem closed should read 0.6-1.0v

I agree that closed throttle voltage is too high. I would bet if you ran the KOEO/CM tests you would see a TPS code. Did you have a high idle before replacing the TPS? What is the idle RPM with the IAC disconnected?
