Got home yesterday, lined the timing chain up, dropped the distributor in, wife said, why dont you get some help.. Buttoned Jeep up, went to start it.. nothing..

Went to truck, fuel line keeps collapsing, dropped tank, installed new hose, raised tank.. problem worse then when I started.

Went to bed around 12:00. wife wakes me up around 1, says she hears water, go down stairs to find bathroom shutoff valve pissing..

Woke up at 5:30.. couldnt get back to sleep, came down stairs played video till 8.

Went to store, bought new shut off, tried to get cofee for wife and I ( water shut off ) truck dies.. Found that I have Rolled the hose while reinstalling last night causing a pinch, took 35 mins with no tools..

Got coffee..

came home, looked at valave, found that there is a bleed off on valve.. 1.49 cover.. done..

cleaned water from floor of basement.. now going to truck to see what I Can do about the hose with out dropping the tank this time..

Heading back to jeep after words.

I am not the neatest person, and not even remotely organzized.. Sheryl has taken on the task of the gargarge, and wholly crap does it look good!!!!

Didn't you think it was off when you were done drinking and looking at the cap under the truck and upside down. Probably got confused.....

 

I'm not a big dune buggie guy, but was there something going on this weekend? When I was going into work yesterday I saw 4 trucks pulling thier buggies W/B I-696. I got off at Evergreen Rd so who knows where they were going. 3 out of the 4 trucks were Fords. I was driving right next to them to show off the sticker for the chapter. Maybe we'll have some more members after this week.

 

Probably just headed for Silver Lake to play.

 

I went ahead and put a couple of polls up in our chapter. I want everyone to take part and vote to see where will meet and when. I, and I know many others, care more about getting together and meeting people in our club. It doesn't matter where we go.

This is not just a guys and there trucks day, bring the whole family. Lets plan a potluck, this would be the least expensive way for everyone. No special planning with restaurants, no pressure because money is tight. Bring a dish to pass, or necessary items for a picnic, and your own beverage. I have a portable grill, and a pop up canopy, along with a portable flag pole to fly my FORD flag so we should be easy to spot. I also have a ladderball game to set up and play.

We can get a list together of necessary items soon.

Sorry Pat, don't want to step on toes. Only trying to help get things rolling.

No stepping over here. we all work together to get this going. It should be fun for all. I don`t know what is over by the center of the state but I am sure someone from that area can do some leg work.

 

Well, IF we end up in Lansing. There is a nice park in the towwn just to the west side of town. It's called Fitzgerald park, would be a great place to get together. There are others around town also, there is a nice little park in Dimondale on the SW corner of town. Nice one in Dewitt on the north end of town. We can narrow this down if it comes to Lansing.

Need more input from more members, I think myself Pat and TIm would go anywhere to have a GTG

 

You said it Rich, we will GTG some were it`s been to long we need this for the good of the chapter and our friends come one come all it`s a family event.

First day back to work for me....at least we don't have kids until next Tues.
